No Groceries - Day 1

Well, we are starting off well!  I do want to get a watermelon because that will probably be the last watermelon for awhile.

Breakfast:
eggs, bacon, toast

Lunch:
free for all:  the boys had PB&J sandwiches, I had Gatorade

Dinner:
leftovers:  smoked turkey, cheddar parmesan potatoes and apple cobbler

I am going to take note of some staples and the quantity that I have.  I am curious how much we actually go through in a month.  These are items that I use quite a bit.  I think as I continue this month, I will be able to see how much meat we actually eat.  The baking supplies will be a little tougher, so I am going to keep track of weights on those.

We started out this morning with:
4 lbs. butter
25 lbs. hard red wheat
20 lbs. AP flour
4 lbs. cheddar cheese
1 gallon milk
2 dozen eggs
1 pint yogurt
